FKB Firm News May 3, 2012: Neil Kornfeld and Jennie Lundman obtained a defense verdict in Supreme Court, Rockland County before Judge Margaret Garvey. The trial involved allegations that the defendant doctor negligently administered an injection that resulted in a MRSA infection that required approximately 11 surgeries. Plaintiff also claimed that the defendant doctor failed to diagnose the infection. April 27, 2012: Andrew R. Jones and Evan W. Bolla obtain pre-answer dismissal of state and federal complaints in mortgage fraud/legal malpractice action. The case involved claims that the defendant podiatrist negligently performed bunion and hammertoe surgery and negligently left a metal wire in the plaintiff's foot. The plaintiff underwent a revision surgery and claimed that more surgery was required.
