Team FKB once again participated in “Velocity,” Columbia University Medical Center’s fundraiser for the Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center.  To learn more about Velocity, click here: www.velocityride.org.

This year, Team FKB did a 12K walk along the West Side of NYC- a sun splashed walk from the WTC Memorial, up the West Side esplanade to Little Island, then over the Highline (and some ice cream!), and then across to Greenwich Village for a post-walk lunch.  The camaraderie of the Velocity event makes it such an extraordinary experience, especially for us at FKB, as cancer has had such an impact on the FKB extended family.  The cause remains personal to us- see: https://cancer.columbia.edu/patient-michael-furman-being-part-clinical-trial-empowering.
