Millennials account for approximately 87.5 Million people in the United States. Consequently, millennials constitute a growing number of potential jurors, and in time, they will likely be the majority of potential jurors. As a result, when conducting a trial, it’s imperative to know who they are, what they believe in, and how to present evidence to them at trial. With the significance of knowing the millennial juror in mind, on October 2, 2018, Patrick J. Brennan and Travis J. Long co-led a presentation on how to reach the millennial juror to claims specialists and medical professionals in NYC. During the presentation, Patrick and Travis defined the millennial juror; addressed ways to capture their attention; and offered methods and techniques for persuading them to follow the evidence and find in favor of those accused of medical malpractice.
