Madi Syed earned her B.B.A. in Finance from Loyola University Chicago and graduated from Syracuse University College of Law. While at Syracuse Law, Ms. Syed served as Notes and Comments editor of the Syracuse Journal of Science and Technology, President of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, and Vice President of the Intellectual Property Law Society.

Prior to joining Furman Kornfeld & Brennan, Ms. Syed accumulated an eclectic legal background, which includes Criminal Defense, Tax Law, Business Associations, and Workers Compensation Law. Ms. Syed began her legal career as an Associate Attorney at a criminal defense litigation firm in Syracuse, New York, mostly serving as a court-appointed attorney through the Assigned Counsel Program. She later moved to Arlington, Virginia, where she joined a civil litigation firm and worked as a Tax Law Editor for Bloomberg, BNA. She finally returned to New York City and further expanded her legal practice at a Workers Compensation and Social Security Disability firm, where she handled a large volume of cases.

Ms. Syed was admitted to practice in New York State in 2015.
