Sydney Bertsch is an associate attorney whose practice focuses on medical malpractice defense.
Ms. Bertsch graduated cum laude from Winthrop University in 2015 with a B.A. in Psychology. In 2019, she earned her J.D., graduating cum laude from Pace Law School. While at Pace Law School, she served as a Productions Editor for the Pace International Law Review. Additionally, Ms. Bertsch served as a Student Attorney through the Pro Bono Scholars Program where she represented immigrants with Make the Road New York.
Prior to joining Furman Kornfeld & Brennan, Ms. Bertsch began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney at the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office, prosecuting various misdemeanor and felony offenses from inception to resolution.
