FKB’s Andrew Jones was elected to the Professional Liability Defense Federation (PLDF) Board of Directors on September 29, 2016.  The appointment came following open elections voted for by PLDF Members during PLDF’s Annual Conference in Denver, CO.

PLDF is a not-for-profit organization designed to bring together attorneys, claims professionals and risk management specialists to share expertise and information helpful to the successful defense of professional liability claims.  PLDF’s mission is to enhance the stature and effectiveness of professional liability defense professionals through education, training and the exchange of information.  More information regarding PLDF can be found here.

In addition, Andrew spoke to Members of PLDF’s Legal Malpractice Group during their Committee Lunch meeting, also on September 29, 2016.  Members learned how to increase their professional profile on various social media outlets, including LinkedIn and Facebook.  Members also learned how to maximize the features of PLDF’s own website, including PLDF’s advanced group mailing feature.  More information regarding the presentation can be found here.
