FKB’s Tracy S. Katz obtains a defense verdict in a chiropractic malpractice case in Bronx Civil Small Claims Court. Plaintiff sued FKB’s client, a chiropractor, alleging that he negligently utilized electrical stimulation on her back, causing 2^nd degree burns and permanent scarring.  At trial, defendant argued that the chiropractor’s use of the electrical stimulation machine was within the standard of care and further that the plaintiff’s burns were not caused by the electrical stimulation machine but caused by plaintiff’s admitted use of a heating pad and her underlying diabetes.  The court returned a defense verdict.
