Irina Zamyatin has obtained summary judgment and dismissal of all claims and causes of action in a matter involving 4 different hospital admissions and/or emergency room visits relative to treatment provided by 5 different providers. The matter concerned a patient who underwent gynecological surgery and thereafter returned to the Emergency Department with varying concerns. With the support of experts in Emergency Medicine, Gynecology, and Infectious Disease, Irina successfully argued that the patient’s unfortunate demise was not a consequence of any of the defendants’ treatment, but more likely than not, due to undiagnosed Covid.
