Neil Kornfeld obtained a defense verdict in Supreme Court, Nassau County.  The case involved allegations that the defendant doctor failed to timely diagnose and treat an infection resulting in a lower extremity amputation.  The plaintiff claimed that the plaintiff had signs of an infection and the defendant doctor failed to obtain wound cultures, order labs and an MRI.
