Aaron M. Barham

Aaron M. Barham is a partner focusing primarily on professional liability and legal malpractice defense.  Aaron has successfully represented lawyers, physicians, and other professionals in cases arising from a wide range of legal areas such as medical malpractice, accountants’ liability, commercial litigation, commercial/secured transactions, securities law, employment law, intellectual property, insurance coverage, real estate, family law, personal injury, construction litigation, and probate law.  Aaron also represents attorneys in grievance matters and other administrative proceedings.

Prior to joining FKB, Aaron was a litigation associate with a New York City-based defense firm, where he defended hospitals, physicians and other healthcare professionals in complex, high-exposure medical malpractice cases.

Aaron earned his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law in 2012 and his B.A. in 2007 from the University of Virginia.  During law school, Aaron competed with the Moot Court Honor Society, served as Symposium Editor for the Journal of Civil Rights and Economic Development, and interned for the New York State Attorney General Litigation Bureau.

Since 2019, Aaron has been annually selected for the Super Lawyers New York Metro Rising Stars list, which recognizes the top 2.5 percent of attorneys in the state.
