Johnnise Lopez is an associate whose practice focuses on medical malpractice defense.

Ms. Lopez graduated with honors  from SUNY Albany in 2013 earning her Bachelor’s degree.  In 2015, she earned her Master’s Degree in Criminology , graduating cum laude from St. John’s University. Later in 2018, Ms. Lopez earned her J.D., graduating from New England Law | Boston. While at New England Law, she served as an Editor for the New England Law Review. Additionally, Ms. Lopez served as a Student Attorney  at the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office through the Public Interest Clinic, where she represented the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in arraignments, hearings and assisted with second seating trials. Furthermore, she participated in the Judicial Honors Clerkship and clerked for the Honorable John Casey in the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court.

Prior to joining , Ms. Lopez served as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County for four years within the Trial Division. As an Assistant District Attorney, Ms. Lopez oversaw a caseload of complex felony and misdemeanor  matters from inception to resolution. Ms. Lopez participated in the investigation, indictment, and prosecution of hundreds of cases including DWIs, narcotics and weapons possessions, robberies, burglaries, assault, non fatal shootings and attempted murders.
