Maci East

Maci East is an associate attorney whose practice focuses on the defense of medical professionals and hospitals in New York City.

Maci graduated summa cum laude from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. She received her J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law. While at Washington and Lee, she worked as a student attorney with Virginia Capital Case Clearinghouse where she assisted in the defense of people accused of capital crimes and individuals seeking parole.

Prior to joining Furman, Kornfeld & Brennan, Maci was a public defender with The Legal Aid Society in New York City. She has experience in handling complex cases at trial level, appellate level, and post-conviction.
