Tracy A. Abramson, Of Counsel to Furman Kornfeld & Brennan, LLP, defends physicians, teaching hospitals, health care systems, nursing homes and medical professionals in all aspects and types of medical malpractice litigation. Ms. Abramson’s practice also includes general liability matters. She is a skilled writer, having achieved numerous legal successes in complex motion practice and she has authored appellate briefs and argued before the Appellate Division.
She is committed to achieving the highest level of advocacy for her clients through broad litigation skills honed over decades. In addition to her significant experience with the civil defense bar, Ms. Abramson has handled plaintiff’s civil litigation matters as well as acted as Special Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of New York’s Administration for Children’s Services.
Ms. Abramson received her J.D. from the top-ranked Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 1997 and her B.A. from the State University of New York at Albany in 1994. During law school she interned at the New York City Department of Environmental Protection and worked as a law clerk for a plaintiff’s lawfirm. While attending college in Albany, N.Y. she interned at the Department of State Division of Consumer Protection and at the New York State Assembly.
