FKB’s Tracy S. Katz obtains summary judgment on behalf of an anesthesiologist in an alleged medical malpractice case. Plaintiff brought claims against FKB’s client, an anesthesiologist, alleging negligent administration of anesthesia during a knee arthroscopy procedure.  Tracy S. Katz moved for summary judgment with an expert affirmation affirming that the anesthesiologist’s care and treatment was in accordance with the standard of care and that the alleged injuries were a known and accepted complication of the procedure.  The court agreed with FKB’s motion papers and dismissed the case against the anesthesiologist.
